Arsenal is confronting the possibility of an injury crisis within their squad as they prepare to take on
Bournemouth in the Premier League this weekend. Manager Mikel Arteta shared concerns about the
fitness of several key players during a press conference on Friday.
Arteta mentioned that Declan Rice, who has yet to train, is uncertain for the upcoming match, and more
information about his condition will be available after the next training session. Additionally, the
manager noted that Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, and Gabriel Martinelli have also been unable to
train.
Fabio Vieira and William Saliba, both of whom missed the recent Carabao Cup victory against Brentford,
require assessment as well. Arteta expressed hope that all players will recover and be available for
selection, as their presence is essential given the team’s busy schedule.
The extent of these injuries will be a point of concern for Arsenal as they aim to navigate the challenges
