Famous Nigerian actress Funke Akindele and her estranged husband, JJC Skillz, have reunited at a
movie premiere in Lagos State, a year after announcing their separation.
The couple got married in London in 2016 and welcomed a set of twins in 2018. In June 2022, JJC Skillz
announced their separation on his Instagram page, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Despite the attention their separation received on social media, the details remained private. However,
in a trending video, the couple was seen dancing and hugging at the premiere of Funke Akindele’s new
movie, ‘She Must Be Obeyed,’ which was directed by JJC Skillz.
The event was attended by popular celebrities, including Femi Adebayo, Lateef Adedimeji, Jaiye Kuti,
Iyabo Ojo, Toyin Abraham, and more. This reunion at the movie premiere has sparked conversations
and speculations about their relationship status.
