Agents of the Maiduguri Zonal Order of the Monetary and Monetary Violations Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, Walk 5, 2024, captured 21 trucks stacked with food and non-food things heading towards N’djamena, Chad Republic, Focal African Republic and Cameroon.
The trucks were captured in a sting activity at significant leave courses along Kalabiri/Gamboru Ngala and Bama streets, Borno State.
Examination showed food things keenly hid in the trucks that would have gone undetected, yet for the extremely observant watchfulness of agents of the Commission.
Further checks showed that the Waybills covering the merchandise conveyed by the trucks demonstrated their objections as N’djamena, Chad Republic, Focal Africa Republic and Cameroon individually.
The capture of the trucks is supposed to stem the tide of food instability occasioned by deceitful jokes of runners the nation over.
The EFCC in a proclamation delivered said the suspects captured with the trucks are being profiled and would be charged to court when examinations are closed.
