Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, is reportedly planning to reinforce his squad by pursuing two La Liga

midfielders during the upcoming January transfer window. The targeted players are Martin Zubimendi

and Guido Rodriguez, both of whom possess the skill set that aligns with Arsenal’s midfield needs.

According to reports from Fichajes, Arsenal has initiated preliminary discussions with Zubimendi’s

current club, Real Sociedad, indicating a genuine interest in securing the midfielder’s services. However,

negotiations may be challenging due to Real Sociedad’s valuation of Zubimendi, set at €60 million,

which Arsenal is reluctant to meet.

As part of a contingency plan, Arsenal is also considering Guido Rodriguez, who currently plays for Real

Betis. With the anticipation of key departures, including Jorginho and Thomas Partey, Arsenal aims to

strengthen its midfield with the addition of players who can contribute effectively to the team’s success.

The January transfer window will be closely monitored by Arsenal fans and football enthusiasts to see if

the club can secure the talents of these La Liga midfielders and further enhance its squad.
