Nollywood actress, Joyce Kalu has used her new video on Instagram to mourn the death of her colleague, Don Brymo, while also advising her movie colleagues on the importance of taking a break from acting in order to get some rest. She took to her Instagram story to share the post, where she stated that the actor’s death is a lesson to everyone in Nollywood, saying that when one gets to a particular age, one has to slow things down.
She stated that actors go through a lot of stress and that they work almost 24 hours a day without rest, referring to it as a difficult profession. She advised that giving one’s life to Christ is something that no one should argue about, saying that it is a peace of mind and that what God cannot do does not exist.
In the statement she made in the video, she said, “Don Brymo’s death is a lesson to us; when you get to a particular age, you have to slow down many things. What we are doing is brain work, which is the most difficult job to do. Your brain works 24 hours a day; you are delivering a character that is not you, so to me, it is spiritual. Giving your life to Christ is something you shouldn’t argue about because that is the only peace you have.”
