Annie Idibia, a Nollywood actress and the spouse of the famed singer 2Baba, recently cried almost uncontrollably while pleading on Nigerians to give their marriage a break.

The actress and her husband, 2Baba, have been in the news since the second season launch of the well-liked reality series “Young, Famous and African.”

In a clip from the reality show that is making the rounds online, Annie is seen pleading for Nigerians to respect their privacy and avoid making assumptions about their relationship while clearly struggling to contain her tears.

She added that because so many people are impatiently awaiting her to post about her marital issues on social media, she no longer knows who her actual friends are.

“Just stop, give my marriage a break because you guys are busy hoping and praying that something is wrong with my marriage. And you just want me to tell you that oh “Innocent messed up”. I don’t even know who my friend is in the group,” she said.

Previously, Innocent Idibia, a Nigerian artist better known by his stage as 2Baba, has freely admitted that his wife Annie’s affection for him occasionally makes him feel vulnerable.

In an interview with South African media personality Khanyi Mbau, 2Baba was open and honest about the fact that his wife, Annie, loves him more than he does, and that her love may occasionally be frightful.

Do you realize how much she adores you, 2Baba had questioned to Khanyi? She’ll set herself on fire to keep you warm.

The African Queen singer responded by saying,

“I believe that I do. You understand…I sense it. I do, indeed. Sometimes it’s frightful. She has always demonstrated her devotion for me. She expresses it more so than I do.I am aware of where I went wrong.
“I can see where I need to raise my game. Despite all of that, it still rests on you as an adult. I still slack off occasionally. The fact is, there are some issues I can’t resolve. The only person who can determine your level of happiness in the end is you”
