Yunana Babas, an Assistant military officer (AIG) of Police is dead.
Babas were responsible for Zone 8.
He gave up the ghost three days after the death of another AIG, Omololu Bishi.
Kwara State Governor, AbdulRazaq AbdulRahman, reacted to his death Thursday night.
He commiserated with the police authorities over “the sudden death”.
Abdulrahman described Babas as an ideal gentleman and a fanatical officer.
“I received the news of the death of AIG Yunana Babas with shock and sadness. it’s one tragedy too many.
“On behalf of the people and Government of Kwara State, I feel for the whole police family, especially the military officer of Police and therefore the immediate family of the highest officer, on this devastating development.
“The late officer may be a fine gentleman, a patriot, and knowledgeable cop who was very hooked into his duty to his fatherland. I recall the gallant roles the late officer played in some recent security developments within the zone.”
The governor prayed to God to repose his soul and luxury his family.
