Nazareth Jesse, a Nollywood actress, has sent a robust warning to ladies who are eagerly anticipating Valentine’s Day to lose their virginity or have casual sex with their partners to consider.

The film star, who recently emerged as the primary female Mayor of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (Abuja chapter), told Inside Nollywood: “Virginity may be a wedding gift to your husband and not a Valentine’s Day gift to boyfriends; don’t enter your matrimonial home perforated. Don’t make the error I made; I assumed Val was a symbol of affection and commitment forever.

“To the young girls, I will be able to like them to understand that love isn’t all about sex, don’t be deceived by gifts and sugar-coated tongues. This happens every day; men deceiving young girls with fake love. The person who loves you’ll not demand sex on Valentine’s Day; get to understand him and his plans for you before taking any step further.”

Recalling her most painful heartbreak, Ms. Jesse revealed how she acknowledged her boyfriend, whom she loved dearly, was already married.

She explains further, “I have suffered several heartbreaks. the more severe was once I discovered the person I loved was already married. I need to know once I saw the text message on his phone, and it all ended a bit like that due to a lie. But I even have not given abreast of love. it’s new a day, especially once I remember God’s word; they’re new every morning.”
