Aisha, the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, has reacted to reports that she fled Nigeria to Dubai thanks to security issues within the Presidential Villa.
Mrs. Buhari disclosed that she traveled out of the country for a checkup.
The First Lady disclosed this through one among her aides, Kabiru Dodo, in Jalingo, Taraba State over the weekend when her foundation presented some items to widows.
Representing Aisha Buhari, Dodo said the primary Lady left her children, husband, and family within the country.
According to Dodo: “The First Lady traveled for her medical trip, she didn’t flee the country due to insecurity.
“She left her children, her husband, and her family in Nigeria.
“What people are saying is baseless and price nothing to be considered.
“I want to inform the entire world that I do speak to her on day to day and she or he is prepared to return to the country as soon as she is completed with the medical treatment abroad.”
