Talented Nollywood actor, Femi Branch, recently celebrated his role in the much talked about film, “House of Gaa” and highlighted the pivotal role of his director in his journey. Branch shared several behind the scenes photos from the making of “House of Gaa” and expressed his gratitude to the director for his guidance.
Branch in his post elaborated on how the director went through a similar process while preparing for *Moremi the Musical*’s play *Olugbo* (Bush Kong). He stressed that the director’s approach involved deep exploration of his own inner self, which helped him discover and refine his portrayal of Gaa.
Branch wrote: “The first slide, eh! BAP, perfectly captures the process. She draws you in, immerses you in her vision, physically and mentally, taking you deep within your being to unearth what is needed for a captivating performance. When I was preparing to play Olugbo in *Moremi the Musical*, she led me down the same path, and this time we went further to discover our ga`a. I believe there is a ga`a inside each of us, even if it doesn’t always manifest itself due to life’s circumstances. Together we discovered my ga`a, refined it and presented it to the world. What you saw in *House of Ga`a* was her doing, so all praise and blame should go to her 😝😝😝😝. Celebrities and fans alike praised Branch’s performance.
Osenmiyu commented: “We love you gaaa, brother. Want more ‘gaaains’ in movies. Cheers to this achievement! 🥂🍾”
Jidewobana wrote: “‘Ahhh… you did it and didn’t even leave a crumb 🙌”
Teybukunoluwa added: “Ahh still balanced 😮😂😂😂😂”
Abeokuta Properties wrote: “So the word for Yoruba Governor is Ilari not gomina. Good word 👍🤗”
Abiodun shared: “Just finished watching the movie with my wife. Really enjoyed it. You always play your best so it’s no surprise that you’ve done it again. Congratulations to you and the whole staff.”
