Gunmen have attacked and shot dead a mobile policeman in Delta State.
NAIJASET gathered that the incident occurred near the New Port Area of the Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA in Warri.
The attackers went away together with his AK-47 rifle.
It was learned that the deceased was escorting his friend when the gunmen struck and sniffed life out of him.
When contacted for comments, the Delta State Police PR Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the report during a text message sent to Our Correspondent in Warri.
The text message reads,” Yes, which is simply the story”
