Popular Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh have begun preparations for the final burial of
the late singer Mohbad, whose real name was Ileriouluwa Oladimeji Aloba. Mohbad passed away under
controversial circumstances, leading to an investigation by the Lagos State Police Command.
In an Instagram live session, Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh visited Ebony Vaults, a popular funeral home in
Lagos, to make arrangements for Mohbad’s burial. During their visit, they discussed the choice of casket
and finalized plans for the singer’s funeral ceremony.
Tonto Dikeh had initially offered to pay for Mohbad’s casket, but the CEO of Ebony Vaults, Dehinde
Harrison, surprised them by offering various funeral services for free, including the casket, hall, pall
bearers, horns men, two wreath bearers, and a horse carriage, along with a discount for the vault.
Iyabo Ojo mentioned that they are still awaiting the results of the ongoing police investigation into
Mohbad’s death while making preparations for his proper burial. She also noted that the support they
have received for the funeral has been significant, especially considering the cost of the casket provided
by Ebony Vaults.
