I could have been a priest if I hadn’t pursued acting, says Deyemi Okanlawon.

Reputable Nollywood actor Deyemi Okanlawon has disclosed that he would have been a preacher if he hadn’t entered the entertainment business.

In a recent interview with Pulse, Deyemi revealed that he would have been a pastor if he hadn’t pursued acting. In order to dispel rumors that his on-screen personas imply differently, he highlighted his vehement opposition to domestic abuse.

Deyemi said:

“I don’t think I can call it a career path; it would have been more of a calling,”

“I believe if I hadn’t been an actor, I would have become a pastor.”
