Adunni Ade speaks out after being accused of owing the late Murphy Afolabi N250k and provides evidence
Adunni Ade, a well-known Nollywood actress, has finally responded to allegations that she owes her late coworker Murphy Afolabi 250k naira.
According to a report, Adunni Ade has received public criticism for supposedly owing late actor Murphy Afolabi money.
The committee in charge of his funeral criticized the actress for being obliged to Murphy Afolabi during the 8-day Fidau Prayer held in his honor.
Before his passing, Murphy Afolabi allegedly owing Adunni Ade N250,000, according to the committee.
They advised her to give the cash back.
“Adunni Ade please return the N250,000 that you are owing the Late Murphy Afolabi”.
Adunni Ade responded to the need for help by refuting the claims that she owed the late actor money in a public statement released by her team.
She claims that Murphy Afolabi contacted her for a job last year and gave her N150,000 in payment.
She was unable to complete the project owing to the passing of her brother, and when the actor sought to reach an alternative deal with her, she returned his money.
Adunni clarified the situation by sharing screenshots of her debit transaction.
