DC has just unveiled the inaugural full-length trailer for “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom,” the eagerly awaited second installment of its Aquaman saga.
Within the first 24 hours of its debut, this nearly three-minute teaser has already garnered an astonishing five million views.
In this sneak peek, Jason Momoa’s portrayal of Arthur Curry finds him tending to his newborn child on the surface world. However, duty calls once more as he must reprise his role as Aquaman, the sovereign of Atlantis, and unite with an ensemble cast featuring Nicole Kidman, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Patrick Wilson. Their mission: to thwart malevolent forces that threaten the tranquility of the submerged realm of Atlantis.
The sequel has been a long time in the making. In March 2022, Warner Bros. rescheduled the release of “Aquaman” and several other films due to production setbacks caused by the pandemic and its subsequent ripple effects.
