In a press interview with the CEO of Usa4records Media “Ugochukwu Stanley Akunne“ popularly known as USA”, Boy Sunkan narrated how he wrote his debut single and follow-up single titled ‘Pray For Me & No Go End’ respectively.
According to the singer, the title of his debut track was inspired by his life experiences.
With clear words, he said, “My life experiences inspired my single ‘Pray For Me’. Everything that has
happened in my life was orchestrated by God so I know I’m a son of victory. I want to specially recognize
the efforts of my dear mother, God bless her for me for always being my motivation”
Boy Sunkan, who described his genre of music as Afrobeat, started music at an early age by miming & playing musical instruments.
As the genre becomes a fuller and richer type of sound with better lyrics, better production, varying delivery styles, Boy Sunkan is set on establishing himself as a musical giant from Osun state to the world.
Speaking on what music means to him, Boy Sunkan said: “Music is the bedrock of my existence, if I’m not doing music then I have no need to co-exist in this creative ecosystem“.
Boy Sunkan plans to drop an Extended Play (EP) soon for his fans and promised to feature a few A-list artists on the project.
