Nollywood actress, Mary Remmy Njoku has posed an important question to Nigerians as she reacts to the controversies surrounding Mohbad’s death.
Mary who never listens to Malian songs, revealed that she never heard of Mohbad until his death.
For the first time, the wife of Jason Njoku listened to his songs and watched disturbing videos online which left her tear-jerking.
Calling for justice, she stated that his death makes her wonder about the value of human life in Nigeria.
“Never really been a huge follower of Malians. Thought the songs were too much for me. So, never heard of this young talent. But listening to his songs last night and watching these videos circulating the internet is tear-jerking. Makes me wonder, what really is the value of a human life in Nigeria? Haba”.
Similarly, Iyabo Ojo, who disdained the All Progressive Congress (APC) had vowed to switch sides with them if they could get justice for Mohbad.
The movie star called for an autopsy and investigation into his death as she noted how his spirit was crying for justice.
Calling for justice, she stated that Mohbad’s death is Mohbad’s death should be everybody’s business.
Her lover, Paul Okoye otherwise known as Pauloo had noted how Mohbad had opened up on his fears, harassment, and depression.
He stated that despite it all, Mohbad remained resilient, and full of life, unfortunately, his shining light was cut short.
Uche Ogbodo, on her part, had tackled Nigerians, noting how they are all talk and no action.
Uche pointed out the hypocrisy of how Nigerians call for people facing challenging times to speak out, yet they are the ones who laugh and ridicule them when they do us.
She stressed that Nigerians aren’t ready to face the monster’s head yet until they are fully ready.
