A 52-year-old woman identified as Mrs Victoria Agori, has narrated the story of how she was molested by some police officers in Rivers State after they killed her son over allegations of robbery and cultism.
In an interview with Punch Newspaper on Saturday, Mrs Agori narrated that her son was shot dead in 2019 after the Rivers State Police Command arrested him for an alleged armed robbery.
She revealed after the news of the arrest reached her, she headed to the Police Station to bail her son but the police officers shot him dead in her presence.
She said after they killed him, some of the officers molested her by stripping her naked and inserting a gun into her private part.
She added that the corpse of her son is yet to be released to her despite a court order asking the police to release it for proper burial.
“They (policemen) used a pestle to beat me, used my husband’s hammer to assault me. Again, as they took us away in their vehicle, they opened my legs and inserted their guns into my private part and killed my son afterwards right in my presence at the police station. The policemen who did this are still walking free, with no prosecution, but still armed with guns. They have not even been arrested.” She stated.
